IN HONOR OF THE ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
On the river of fire, they stood their ground
Silent hearts, but their courage loud
Holding the line as the night closed in
Brothers in duty, bound by the wind
They knew the cost
Still they stayed
For every life
They gave their days
Honour in the storm
Light against the dark
Men who carried hope
Like a flame within the heart
They never turned away
Even when the world moved on
Their names remain
In the quiet of the dawn
Deck logs fading, but the truth still stays
Footsteps echo from forgotten days
Saving the lives when the sky fell down
Holding the children as they left their town
They knew the cost
Still they stayed
For every life
They gave their days
Honour in the storm
Light against the dark
Men who carried hope
Like a flame within the heart
They never turned away
Even when the world moved on
Their names remain
In the quiet of the dawn
We honour you
We honour you
Honour in the storm
Light against the dark
Men who carried hope
Like a flame within the heart
And though the years may fade
Their courage still lives on
Their names remain
In the quiet of the dawn
