WE'RE GOING BACK TO VIETNAM
We’re going back to Vietnam,
We’re going back to Vietnam
Taking back our homeland glowing in the sunlight,
Taking back the land we’ve loved through all of time.
We’re going back to Vietnam,
We’re going back to Vietnam
With a heart that burns like fire, with our hands held fierce and strong,
Hear the fury rising, free Vietnams voice lives on.
Now the hour’s here at last,
Storms are breaking, rising fast.
Thunder crashes on the enemy’s crown.
All our fury starts to rise,
Every heart is burning bright—
It’s the hour of our power coming down,
Yes, the hour of our power coming down.
From the open sky: heroes in the blue,
From the ocean’s roar: heroes breaking through.
Here the infantry stands strong, side by side—
We will win, oh we will win this fight.
We will win, oh we will win this fight.
We’re going back to Vietnam,
We’re going back to Vietnam.
With a heart that keeps its promise, with our proud blood burning strong,
Hear the fury rising, Free Viets spirit stands.
We’re going back to Saigon,
We’re going back to Vietnam.
Taking back our homeland shining in the sunlight,
Taking back the land we’ve loved for all our years.
We’re going back to Hanoi,
We’ll reclaim the ancient Thăng Long.
With a heart that keeps its promise, with our proud blood burning strong,
Hear the fury rising, Thăng Long’s spirit calls.
From the open sky: heroes in the blue,
From the ocean’s roar: heroes breaking through.
Here the infantry stands strong, side by side—
We will win, oh we will win this fight.
We will win, oh we will win this fight.
